James-Lee Consultancy is proud to represent the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST) in assisting with their recruitment of international students and providing guardianship for them.

The GDST is the UK’s leading family of twenty-three independent girls’ schools and two academies. The GDST is known for its academic excellence and developing character beyond the curriculum.

The GDST concentrate on creating an environment where all the girls can thrive and learn from one another. Physical and emotional well-being is paramount, which is why every GDST school provides an incredible array of extra-curricular activities and wellbeing programmes.  Elite universities are looking for students who have broader skills and experience beyond the classroom - the GDST provides this opportunity and experience to all their students.

The GDST Schools

At both GCSE and A-Level, girls in GDST schools continue to outperform their peers in state and independent schools. In 2019, 53% of A Levels were graded A* or A and the proportion of top GCSE grades achieved by GDST students was again three-and-a-half times the national average.  The GDST schools are constantly in the Top 100 of the UK Independent Schools league table - many of them are in the Top 50!

So what schools are part of the GDST?

Some of the more well-known GDST schools known amongst international students are:

Royal High School Bath

A boarding school located in the historic city of Bath; it offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma as well as A-Levels.
