About the School

Beechwood School is an independent boarding school which is a happy and purposeful place to nurture excellence and a love of learning. There are 23 A-Level subjects including Photography, Art, Textiles, Psychology as well as the more traditional subjects, allowing students to develop their strengths and interests.

Starting from Year 7, boarders are offered two-or three-bedded rooms. From Sixth Form, students are offered single rooms.

Exam Results and University Destinations

In 2022, at GCSE, 32% of the grades were 9-7, and 100% were 9-4. At A-Level, 23% of the grades were A*-A. 

In 2022, 80% of the leavers had the first-choice places secured including Cambridge, KCL, Durham, and Sheffield.

Extra-Curricular Activities

Beechwood Elite Football Programme is a market leading football programme that gives students the access to professional football. It has a proven track record of successful outcome that many students have successfully entered the most prestigious national competitions such as ISFA and ESFA national competitions, Isthmian Youth League and FA Youth Cup.

Facilities

The study hub provides a place for students to take time out from their studies.The Sixth Form also enjoy their own common room and kitchen area to develop skills needed for their onward journey.
