About the School
Highgate School is one of the UK’s leading independent day schools with over 450 years of history. They aim to cultivate individual curiosity and intellectual rigour in their students in a caring and open-minded community.

In 2021, at GCSE, 65.6% of the grades were 9, 86.5% were 9-8, 96% were 9-7. At A-Level, 66.8% of the grades were A*, 91% were A*-A, and 97.6% were A*-B.
In 2021, 28 leavers successfully went on to Oxbridge, including 14 going on to Cambridge and 14 going on to Oxford.
Extra-Curricular Activities
There are over 150 co-curricular activities, clubs and societies. Recently, new activities such as Origami and Chinese Studies, Yoga and Sporting Top 10 have also been added.
Educational visits are an integral part of Highgate life. Different year groups are offered a range of local, national and international trips. Some destinations include Wales, Hong Kong, China and Uganda.
Facilities
There are modern learning facilities such as a 200-seat auditorium, ICT suites equipped with the latest technology, and a modern languages block.
The 23 acres of green space is also filled with cricket, netball and tennis facilities, a gym, and a 25 metre indoor swimming pool.
