About the School

The National Mathematics and Science College (NMSC) is an independent sixth form boarding and day college specialising in A-level STEM subjects. They aim to prepare students for going on to study Maths, Science, Medicine and other top disciplines at the world’s leading universities. 

To achieve this goal, NatMatSci runs a tailored university preparation programme, helping students to achieve their potential and gain access to the best universities.

Exam Results and University Destinations

In 2021, at A-Level, 70% of the grades were A*, and 93% of the grades were A*-A.

In 2021, 83% of the leavers received offers from Russell Group universities, with 39% gaining G5 University places, and 19% gaining Oxbridge places.

Extra-Curricular Activities

There are plenty of sporting opportunities available, whether in the form of clubs, societies or trips. Students are also encouraged to create their own sporting Clubs and Societies to pursue additional sports or even to try something new.

Facilities

The Xcel Leisure Centre which is nearby the campus offers students with various sports facilities including an extensive gym, swimming pool, sports halls, and outdoor pitches for a variety of sports.
