About the School
Newcastle High School for Girls is an independent day school a part of Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST). NHSG was formed in 2014 by the merger of Central Newcastle High School, and Newcastle upon Tyne Church High School.
NHSG has different approaches for different year groups: introducing the wonders of the world to 3+, sparking the intellectual curiosity of 7+, and challenging 16+ to engage with their learning at the highest possible level.
